When your characters first see each other it may not be love, it may not even be liking, depending on what reputation precedes them. Or, is that handsome stranger across the room just that, a stranger?
This month we want to critique the scene when the hero first sees or notices the heroine, or the heroine first sees or notices the hero. They do not have to meet and it is best if they don’t since next week month will be a first meeting.
How it works:
* Next Friday 12th March (US Central Time) we will post a CRIT FRIDAY OPEN message.
* Post up to 500 words of your scene as a comment to the Crit Friday Open message. Also include a working title.
* During the week, your scene will be copied, removed from the blog, and critiqued by at least 5 of our members.
* On Friday 19th March we will repost all critiqued to the blog.
This is NOT a contest - there are no prizes and no winner - just honest feedback delivered in a nice way.
To ensure your privacy, reposted work will not include an author names and you may post more than one work for critique.
Any questions? Just post your questions as a comment and we will get back to you soon.
