Jaguar Fever--It's Finally Here! & a Giveaway!

First, I want to thank the Lady Scribes for asking me to join their lovely blog! I've made guest appearances here a few times so now I'm going to be a regular! And now I get to have a title and everything! Lady Wolf! Doesn't it seem appropriate? I love having a title. Fits in with all my medieval Highland stories. So if my characters give me a difficult time, I'll just whip out my title and put them in line.

Of course my first blog here as a regular member is about jaguars. That shows my ability to transform myself into anything I want to be.

Second, what so many have been waiting for: JAGUAR FEVER released yesterday and really, the jaguar shifters are hot! Not erotica. But who wouldn't love to have all that jaguar shifter loving?

The first book in the Heart of the Jaguar series, is SAVAGE HUNGER. And as you can see from my signing poster, the cover in the middle is Savage Hunger. In Jaguar Fever, I expanded the world a bit. In the first, a couple of jaguar shifters are isolated from others--it's truly a jaguar thing. I base my stories on real wolves and real jaguars. So it's fun creating a world where the shifters are as close to the real deal as I can make them.

But, jaguars don't mate for life, like wolves do. So to have a happily ever after, I had to ensure their human halves have a say in this deal.

And here's the man of the hour. Wade Patterson. He's in Savage Hunger, a mystery jaguar as jaguars are one of the most elusive big cats there are. But I expanded the world to show that Connor and Maya Anderson, twin brother and sister in Savage Hunger have cousins.

In the next book, oh yes, there are more coming!, Jaguar Hunt will be one of Connor and Maya's cousin's story and David's, Wade Patteron's brother. David really kept trying to steal the limelight in Jaguar Fever, and there was no doubt he would get the next story.

She's being pursued by everyone, in more ways than one.
Even in an exotic world of humans, jaguars, and tantalizing creatures who shift between the two, Maya Anderson stands out from the crowd. Interest from human suitors is bad enough, but when male shifters give chase, the real trouble starts.

Who's the hunter and who's the prey?
Investigating the black marketing trade of exotic animals keeps Wade Patterson more than busy. When he and Maya both get entangled in a steamy jungle mission, it becomes impossible to tell who is being hunted or who the hunters are. Wade is desperate to survive this deadly game of cat and mouse. But it's Maya's piercing eyes that keep him awake at night.

To Purchase Jaguar Fever:

Hmmm, I think because this is my first time to blog here, I will give not one, but two books away. A set, SAVAGE HUNGER and JAGUAR FEVER, to one lucky commenter. Both autographed. That way the winner will be already for the next hot jaguar story coming next year.

US or Canada winners only, please. Later on, I'll offer ebooks of some of my titles and they can be international.

So my question is:

You're shipwrecked on an island with a SEAL wolf, a Special Forces Golden Claw JAG agent jaguar shifter, a Highland werewolf, warrior type, or one of the hunky Silver brothers, which one would you hook up with and why? Have fun and get creative!

  1. Lady Wolf,
We're so happy to have you with us at LS. Welcome! I love that you follow real animal behavior in your books. That's cool.

Okay, since this is obviously fantasy, I'll play along. (I'm a mate for life kind of gal in real life.) I'll take a Highland werewolf, thank you. I fell in love with Lydia Dare's English Lycans (I'm team Ben!!!) and I'm sure I would love a Scottish werewolf just as much. :)

  2. Thanks so much, Samantha, for asking me! :) After reading White Fang and Call of the Wild by Jack London when I was a kid, I think the way he had one of the wolf pups exploring and thinking about what he was seeing and such, influenced me to write the way I do. :)

Yes, you would!! He has a castle, what more can a lady ask for, oh, and he wears a kilt or not, on special occasions. Sometimes he's asked to wield his sword in a movie at the castle, and you can be his leading lady. Sounds great, doesn't it??? :)

    2. LOL, yeah, and in Hero of a Highland Wolf, he's either in one or out of one. Really a fun story coming next year! :)

  4. It would be a SEAL wolf for me. They're alpha to the max. Like the jaguar they love water. Also, I can have him dress in a kilt once in awhile and hope for a updraft. Love all the adventures you take me on. Thanks

  5. Thanks, Loretta! Yes, you want that hunky SEAL wolf Paul. He's all yours!!! I promise. Not sure he'd go for the kilt though. You might have to sacrifice it for wet swim trunks instead. :)

  8. Hi Terry,
I'm loving Jaguar Fever. Wade is such a hottie.
Your question is a tough one. If I had to only choose one, it would be a Highland Wolf Warrior. I think the brogue would send me over the edge. Of course, there would be no clothes on the island. Right?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. LOL, Bonnie, of course. Think of swimming in all that crystal aqua water, no need for clothes either as a wolf or a man. Definitely better with a man. :) LOL! I'm thrilled you're loving Jaguar Fever!

  9. Hi Lady Wolf.

First I love all of your stories. Also thank you for the chance to win your Jaguar books :)

My choice to be stranded with is a Highland werewolf. Sigh says it all really. I would be lost just staring at him in his kilt and listening to his brogue. Not to mention Loves wolves.

    1. Thanks so much, Sin! Aye, when I listen to an audiobook of the Highland brogue, I can be writing about hot jaguars in the jungle and still have that brogue filling my head. I LOVE it. Not to mention the kilts. I had so much fun with A Hero of a Highland Wolf where Grant MacQuarrie is constantly in a kilt, or without, but for good reason. It was way too much fun. :)

  11. I would definitely choose a Special Forces Golden Claw JAG agent jaguar shifter, because it's such a freaking awesome title. Anybody can be a jaguar, or a special forces soldier. I'm thinking there's a bit of wonderment to be had with a Special Forces Golden Claw JAG agent jaguar shifter. :) Congratulations on your new release!

  14. Ahh, thanks so much, Andris!!

LOL, well, I would NEVER force anyone to chose just one if they have their heart set on several!!!! :) But, yeah, those hard-bodies SEALs are really hard to beat. And they so look like they need another oil job. Want to apply???

  15. Yay!!!!!!! Glad to hear that you're joining the lovely ladies here!!! I look forward to your posts! Ummm... I have to choose!!!! booo :) I think that I would love to hook up with the highland werewolf b/c the accent would just melt me! Thanks for sharing!

Sebella, too funny. I love your idea. Alternate on different days. The others might get jealous that your choosing the Highlander for an extra day, but...they'll have to work harder to get your interest then. That's always good! :)

  20. Ah, Di, I'm so glad you're so adventurous!!! He'll love you for it!

  25. Highlander werewolf - Okay I have a thing about Gaelic (Raonaid is scots gaelic) and well I would love to hear a scotsman speak it to me, whispering it in my ear. Oh I could melt.. and I hope he's wearing a kilt

    1. Totally cool that your name is Scots Gaelic! They often do. :) In A Highland Werewolf Wedding, Cearnach MacNeill is dressed in one to go to the wedding, but the heroine wants him to remove his shirt. You know, like the romance covers portray them. And in A Hero of a Highland Wolf, Grant MacQuarrie is constantly either in one or out of one, and no shirt. Had too much fun with it. Working on Guthrie MacNeill's story next. :)

  26. You are not asking an easy question lol. I so want to say the Special Forces Golden Claw JAG agent jaguar shifter because I have seen so few jaguar shifter books, but those that I have pulled me in faster than any other shifter book. SEAL wolf would have to be my choice though. I love that wolves mate for life.

Congratulations on your newest release! I absolutely love the covers you have. Are we supposed to leave our emails to enter?

    1. LOL, Tiffany, it is a really hard choice. I think the answer would be I'd have a big enough heart to love them all. But would they like that? NO WAY, Jose. They're all alpha, possessive, and territorial. :) And totally lovable!!

I'll announce it on here in the morning! :)

  27. I want a Highland Cat. Cats are cuddly and they purr but you can't beat a hot guy in a kilt with a
Scot burr rolling in your ear, lol. I always have a soft spot for Highlanders. I once saw a Lynx and thought if I ever had a wild cat, that would be the species, big feet, beautiful snow cat coloring...

Good luck with your new release and I'll be seeing you at DISCOVER A NEW LOVE tonight!

  31. Congrats on being part of the blog team and with such a cool name of Lady Wolf. I'm new to this blog and your books, but I love the sound of them. I would choose Seal wolf since I like the mate for life concept with a multi-talented Seal is a fab combination to me.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Congrate on being with this blog and the cool name Lady Wolf. When I think of the wolf stories I think of your series first.
I would like to be stuck with a Highland Warrior like Dougald MacNeill. He is a rake but he knew when he met his mate he would do what ever to have. The romance was out of this world like riding up and pulling you on his horse up against his chest. The highlanders and the shifter wolf are my favorite but the jaguars are coming second.

  33. Love the books actually love wolves want a husky. Great writer.

  34. Thanks so much, Jbst! Yes, multi-talented, and did I mention they have a lot of STAMINA???? Very important! LOL

Betty, thanks so much! That's such a compliment!! I'm totally thrilled you're loving my medieval Highland stories. Yes, he is such an incorrigible and endearing hunk. Love him!!! I'm working on the 5th book in the series, The Highlander! with Niall. I've had so many requests for Gunnolf, their Viking friend, his: The Viking and the Highland Lass, will be next. :)

If I had to pick one, I'll have to say the SEAL wolf; they mate for life, are terrific fighters (if the need arose) & SEALs are trained in everything.

  39. It's so hard to pick one -- can I have a menage? Ok just kidding...I think. This is fantasy after all.
I go with a shifter cat first. I adore cats, my current pet is a 22# domestic short hair black cat that resembles a black panther. He's big enough to be a miniature one and I think he's full size when he sleeps on me at night. But he's soft, warm and purrs in my ear, sigh. --That being said I have a real soft spot for a hunky highlander in a kilt with a burr. Makes my toes curl and he could get me to do ANYTHING :-) Thanks for the giveaway, I want both books and don't have them yet! glittergirl54 at ymail dot com
