Romance Ramblings: Our Wackiest Episode Yet (Seriously)

So a while back, Jerrica and Ava had the brilliant idea to host Jane Charles, Julie Johnstone, Catherine Gayle and Aileen Fish all at once on Romance Ramblings. The genius in the idea was that the 6 of us have a Christmas anthology collection that is officially released TODAY - A Pact Between Gentlemen and A Gentlemen's Pact.

We thought it might be fun for us to all get together, chat about our novellas, give people a taste of our personalities.

How could we possibly have known that Google would upgrade...er...I mean screw around with their hangouts the very day we needed to record? Don't get us started on Google and their enhancements. How could we have possibly known that one of us would need an eyepatch before the show was over? How could we have possibly known that more than one of us would be three sheets to the wind...? (OK, that last one we might have suspected, if we'd given it any thought.)

So - if you want to watch 6 authors come completely apart at the seams, laugh until their sides hurt, and poke fun at each other in a way only good friends can - then this episode is for you.

Questions of the day... What is YOUR favorite drink? Who is your favorite pirate? And - who is your favorite 80s porn star?  (Yes, those really are the questions of the day.)

  1. Let's get the 80s pornstar question out of the way. I was born in 80, so likelihood of I owning who would be a pornstar are nonexistent.

If I drank it would be a probably be a watermelon margarita. None alcoholic drink would be coke zero

Favorite pirate hmmm... I don't know.

However, I have notice that there two Danby grand kids that remain unmarried. I'm just letting you guys know.

    1. LOL, Melody! Who which grandchildren are left?

    2. LMAO!!! I know one of those two is mine. :) I haven't forgotten him.

You don't have a favorite pirate? Not even Westley, when he was the Dread Pirate Roberts in The Princess Bride?

    3. The two grandchildren I'm talking about are Thomas Goddard, since Catherine told be she wrote a story for Robert in a novella. The second one isn't even on the family tree and that is Olivia Foster she's mention in Winning a Lady's Heart. At the time she was too young to be married. I'm thinking she's old enough to be married.

I'm telling you, I have comb those anthologies.

Catherine I do like the Dread Pirate Roberts, but not my favorite.

    4. Thomas had his story! He's the hero of Rhyme and Reason. Robert makes an appearance in this anthology, but it isn't his story. His is still coming.

    5. Ok I switched Robert and Thomas up. I knew one of them had a story. I was taking a stab at the guess.

  2. For anyone who watched that and wondered...A) bless you for sitting through that, and 2) my eye is much better this morning. Still a little puffy and swollen, but I can keep it open today at least.

And yes, that seriously happens to me just like that all the time. Soooo freaking annoying.

    1. Agh! Stupid google. Everyone's little thumbnails were flashing at the bottom too. I thought I might have a seizure or something. Flicker, flicker, flicker.

The chats were working like normal earlier in the day, up until I needed to use it. :/
