As a child, ANDRIS BEAR never told stories unless it was to get herself out of trouble. Now, to keep her wits amongst the chaos that is her husband and three children, she spins tales of strong heroes and heroines fighting an attraction they can never tame. Andris writes a dark, humorous mix of paranormal romance and urban fantasy.

CHRISTI CALDWELL
blames Judith McNaught’s “Whitney, My Love!” for luring her into the enchanting world of historical romance. And she has never looked back. While sitting in her apartment in graduate school at the University of Connecticut, Christi decided to set aside her notes and pick up her laptop to try her hand at romance. She believes the most perfect heroes and heroines have imperfections, and she rather enjoys torturing them before crafting them a well deserved happily ever after! Christi divides her time between Connecticut and North Carolina where she spends her time writing her own enchanting historical romances, teaching history, and being a full-time wife and mother!

As a child, JANE CHARLES would more likely be found outside with a baseball than a book in her hand. In fact, Jane hated reading until she was sixteen. Out of boredom on a long road trip she borrowed her older sister’s historical romance and fell in love with reading and her love for them never died. Writing romance soon became a passion as well, which has been fully supported by her awesome husband, children and three cats.

LYDIA DARE is the writing team of Tammy Falkner and Ava Stone who together have published several award-winning Paranormal Regency Romances. Their playful Westfield Wolves,  Gentlemen Vampyres and Hadley Brothers Series are all set during the Regency Era and feature charming Lycans, Scottish witches, and noble vampyres. Both Tammy and Ava live near Raleigh NC with their respective families.

AMY DE TREMPE still believes in magic. The magic of love, the magic of fairytales, the magic of make-believe, the magic of childhood and the magic of faith. When she was a little girl she loved to play make-believe. Into adulthood this continued except the stories remained in her mind until one day she decided to put them to paper. She is lucky enough to be married to a wonderfully supportive man and has been blessed the three fantastic children.

CATHERINE GAYLE has been an avid reader of romance novels (and almost anything else she can legally get her hands on) for as long as she can remember. Her mother might say it started in the womb. She writes sexy, humorous Regency-set romance, often involving families as large and diverse as her own. When she is not writing or reading, she can often be found buried beneath her sleeping cats or chasing the Nephew Monster.

Growing up in a small Texas town, LILY GEORGE spent her summers devouring the books in her mother's Christian bookstore. She still counts Janette Oke, Grace Livingston Hill and LM Montgomery among her favorite authors. Her debut novel, Captain of Her Heart, is slated for release February 2012 by Love Inspired Historical. Lily lives in the Dallas area with her husband and daughter a a menagerie of pets.

SAMANTHA GRACE is the author of several Regency romance novels. Lady Vivian Defies a Duke (May 7, 2013) is the final installment of her Beau Monde Bachelor series. Publisher’s Weekly describes her stories as “fresh and romantic” with subtle humor and charm. She writes what she enjoys reading: romantic comedies about family, friendship, and flawed characters who learn how to love deeply.

Adventure into Romance with SUZIE GRANT. She writes with a hint of history and plenty of thrills on every page. Still believing in happily-ever-afters Suzie writes steamy love scenes with a pace that will leave you breathless. She lives happily ever after with her new beau, three boys and one little Shitzhu named Peppy Le’Pew in Charlotte, NC. One day she plans to retire and sail along the east coast an adventurer to the end.

While growing up TES HILARIE always wanted to see a ghost. Or meet an angel. Or dine with a vampire. Despite her vivid imagination, none of these things ever happened...yet. In the meantime, she writes about them from her home in North Carolina where she lives with her hero, her cats, a son and two daughters--one of which claims to actually have seen a ghost (Tes is very jealous). She hates lima beans, loves spaghetti, and still believes in the impossible

JULIE JOHNSTONE is a published author of contemporary short stories and writer of unconventional Regency romances where the rule is—there are no rules. Julie spends her days juggling her love of writing with her love of her two precious children, her overworked lawyer husband and her wandering cat.

After obtaining a degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, and years of pursuing a career on the stage, JERRICA KNIGHT-CATANIA left the "glamorous" life of an actress in favor of writing romance. Her best-selling Regency series, The Wetherby Brides, features the fun and lively tales of the Wetherby siblings as they seek and find the loves of their lives. Jerrica resides in the New York City area with her husband Eric, their shy but learned cat, Dr. Snuggle and their duchess-in-training, Bella.

Although always an artist at heart, OLIVIA KELLY actually graduated college with a culinary degree, intending to use her flair for creativity and her need to direct other people's lives to become the dictator of the kitchen - a chef! Instead, she now cooks up ways to get her characters fascinated, frustrated, and falling headlong into love. She lives in North Carolina, with her husband and two young children.

ERIN KNIGHTLEY believes that there are few things better in life than a good book. As a voracious reader of Regency romance and a longtime writer, it was only a matter of time before she combined her two interests and followed her dream. A full-time writer in Raleigh, NC, Erin enjoys spoiling her three mutts, spending as much time on the lake as possible, and living her own Happily Ever After with her very own hero. Her debut novel, MORE THAN A STRANGER, is scheduled for release through NAL in June of 2012.

DEB MARLOWE grew up in Pennsylvania with her nose in a book. Luckily, she'd read enough romances to recognize the true modern hero she met at a college Halloween party - even though he wore a tuxedo t-shirt instead of breeches and tall boots. They married, settled in North Carolina and produced two handsome intelligent and genuinely amusing boys. Though she spends much of her time with her nose in her laptop, for the sake of her family she does occassinally abandon her inner world for the domestic adventure of laundry, dinner and carpool. Despite her sacrifice,  not one of the men in her family is yet willing to don breeches or tall boots. She's working on it.

HANNA MARTINE left a decade of office work in order to show her daughter what it means to to go after one's dream. She loves bar stools, books, travel, and her friends. Though she and her family live outside Chicago, her heart resides in Australia.

AVA STONE is the author of several Regency Noir Romances. Her best-selling Scandalous Series is filled with witty humor and centers around the friends and family of the Machiavellian-like Lady Staveley, exploring deep themes but with a light touch. A single mother, Ava lives outside Raleigh NC, but she travels extensively, always looking for inspiration for new stories and characters in the various locales she visits.

MARQUITA VALENTINE writes small town romances that are anything but small. Her Nationally Best-selling Holland Springs Series is known for its hot love scenes, fiery heroines and to-die for heroes. Lisa Kleypas, Carly Phillips and Rachel Gibson are her favorite contemporary authors. Marquita met her husband aka Hot Builder at Sonic when they were in high school. She suggests this location to all of her single friends in search of a good man -- and if that doesn't work, they can console themselves with cheesy tater tots. She lives in North Carolina in a very, very small town with Hot Builder and their two children.
